We are an independepent bar, restaurant and café serving outstanding food and drinks whether your are out after work, on a date or hanging with friends. We are located in Young Vic’s Sterling Prize nominated building just off the south bank.

A popular destination for Young Vic, Old Vic and NT theatre-goers, local businesses and many more since our opening in 2006.

Menus celebrate the best of local produce and global inspiration, from our rotating craft beers, outstanding wines, excellent allpress coffee and show stopping cocktails. The kitchen is all about fresh and seasonal food from sustainable sources.

The Cut have established three bars and restaurants within London theatres and cinemas since 2006.

A pioneer in redefining hospitality within UK theatres, our premise has been to create an outstanding stand-alone bar and restaurant within a theatre, rather than simply a great theatre bar and restaurant.

Led by co-founder Nicolai Outzen, GM Saiful Islam and award winning Head Chef James Browne. The Cut provides a seamless and unique pre-theatre experience as well as being an extremely popular destination for food and drinks in one London finest arts venues.

With amazing cocktails from top ingredients, great wines from small producers and a top notch beer selection. This is an great place to enjoy delicious food and great drinks for a date, friends night out or after work socials.

Sustainability has guided our business from the outset. Long standing members of the Sustainable Restaurant Association and committed to recycling practices. Our menus reflect a commitment to responsible food choices, and we expect the same standards throughout our supply chain. The Cut has played an instrumental role in supporting the Young Vic’s leadership on sustainability and was a key part of the successful bid for winning the Julie’s Bicycle Award.
