We are an independent bar, restaurant and café housed in the Young Vic theatre's award-winning building just off the South Bank. An airy open space with an exclusive terrace in the vibrant neighbourhood of Waterloo and Southwark, we have been a popular destination for theatre-goers, local workers and our neighbours since our opening in 2006. Known as the UK's outstanding theatre bar we have been serving an eclectic mix of guests to eat and drink surrounded by London's outstanding cultural institutions such as Old Vic Theatre, National Theatre, The Globe, BFI and Southbank Centre.

Our drink selection celebrates the best of both local and global, from our rotating craft beers, outstanding wines, excellent Allpress coffee and show stopping cocktails. Our independence ensures that we have the freedom to find and offer quality products which we are proud to serve.

The kitchen is all about fresh and seasonal food from organic, free range and sustainable sources. We work hard to get our hands on the best ingredients we can, and we never buy from anyone we don’t know by name.
